About the role
Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Matrix Medical Imaging, based in Fawkner, VIC. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in the smooth running of our medical imaging practice, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. You would also be supporting our team at our Glenroy medical imaging practice as well.
Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing patient bookings and scheduling appointments
- Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
- Communication with healthcare providers
- Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, and answering phone calls
- Follow up calls to patients after procedures
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical reception or healthcare customer service is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a compassionate and professional manner
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient data entry
- Proficiency in using Computers and Microsoft Office applications, Diary Management system experience will be highly regarded
- A friendly, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
